Balling Law, P.C. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle information provided to us, including information collected in connection with our SMS/text messaging communications.

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, telephone number, email address, mailing address, and information necessary to provide legal services and communicate with you regarding your matter.

If you elect to receive SMS/text messages from our office, we may collect and retain your mobile telephone number and your consent to receive text messages.

We use personal information for purposes related to our legal services and the operation of our law office, including:

  • Sending brief administrative communications and reminders;
  • Providing reminders regarding court appearances, appointments, meetings, and other scheduled events;

We do not use our SMS/text messaging service for unsolicited marketing or promotional messages.

SMS/Text Messaging

Our SMS/text messaging program is intended for established clients of Balling Law, P.C. and is used primarily for brief communications, administrative matters, and reminders concerning court appearances, appointments, meetings, and other matters related to the client’s representation.

Message frequency will vary depending on the client’s matter and communications with our office. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging may not be a secure method for communicating confidential or sensitive information. Clients should not send confidential, privileged, or sensitive information by text message unless specifically instructed to do so by our office.

Clients may choose not to receive text messages from our office. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to a message from our office or contact us directly. You may also reply HELP for assistance.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share personal information when reasonably necessary to provide legal services, operate our law office, comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or protect our rights and interests. Any third-party service providers used to assist with office operations may receive information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services.

SMS consent and opt-in information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic communication or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
